Poster First draft

JONES

Fantastic work Nicole - keep up the good effort and motivation. Look what you can achieve! I think the horror factor is much more evident already.

Consider the text that is being used - you might want to split up your shots with more text such as 'from the directors of' to show the trailer conventions that you researched.

It also might be worth thinking about the pace of the shots and how you can build suspense and tension through fast paced editing.

Also the website draft looks really professional - good use of filmed footage and links. The next step will be to make sure that you have all the relevant information on it.

Some of the research gaps you will need to fill at some point:
- review and research some existing film websites for ideas
- review and research existing film posters for ideas
- Make sure you upload your storyboard that you created at some point - even if it doesn't have all the details on it.

Nicole - I like the sinister shot of the child looking in a different direction to the mirror.

Your priority is to get your filming complete at the moment. You also need to be thinking about how you are applying your research into the conventions of film trailers to help with your filming/ editing.

Look back at your storyboard so that you know the footage you need to be getting so you can start the editing process.
